A Case Analysis of the Design of Principal Engineering Works of Reservoir Dam
In order to make full use of water resources,improve the agricultural irrigation conditions in the southeast of the county,and take into account flood control,breeding and ecological water demand,a reservoir will be built.The reservoir project is mainly composed of dam,spillway,water conveyance tunnel,and management facilities.Based on the hydrogeology condition of the reservoir dam project,the design scheme of dam crest,upstream slope and downstream slope,as well as the anti-seepage reinforcement of the dam body and dam foundation is described in detail.The construction of the reservoir project could provide sufficient water for farm irrigation in the downstream of the reservoir,improve the flood control standard of the downstream river channel,supplement the ecological water use of the downstream river during the dry season,provide support for the food security of the water supply area,and significantly improve the ecological environment of the water supply area.
