Practice and Thinking of Strengthening Groundwater Management
In order to carry out the special rectification of self-provided well management in the central urban area,Nanyang City has prepared the work plan and taken measures including enhancing the public consciousness,investigating the real situation,standardizing water source management,strengthening administrative law enforcement.The self-provided wells in central urban area are either closed or under strict management.In May 2024 the tap water supply is 500 000 m3 higher than that in May 2023,and the annual tap water supply will be increased by more than 5 million m3.
