Analysis of the Dielectric Properties of Rubber Concrete Based on Ground Penetrating Radar
To explore the influence of rubber particle size and content on the dielectric properties of rubber concrete, rubber concrete were prepared with rubber particles content of 10%and 15%with particles size of 1~3 mm and 3~6 mm respectively, and compared with conventional concrete to study the rules of relative dielectric constant change with different rubber particles content and particles size. The results show that the relative dielectric constant of rubber concrete in the initial preparation stage gradually decreases with age,and tends to stabilize after 28 days of age;when the rubber particles size are the same, and the rubber particles content decrease, the relative dielectric constant increase;when the rubber particle content are the same, and the particle size decrease, the relative dielectric constant increase. The experimental results can provide a basis for setting the relative dielectric constant when ground penetrating radar is used to detect the quality of rubber concrete.
