Application of Ground Penetrating Radar in the Tunnel Construction of Chao'er River-to-West Liaohe River Water Diversion Project
Ground penetrating radar,as an important technical approach of geological research in hydraulic tunnel construction,is widely applied in the field of capital construction.In this paper,the radar method is applied to the advance geological prediction of the tunnel section of the Chao'er River-West Liaohe River Water Diversion Project.The method of GPR data acquisition,radar data processing and the analysis and interpretation of prediction results are described in detail.The in-situ excavation verifies the accuracy of the results,and the application effect of the radar method provides a basis for the adaptability of the method for similar projects.
