Farmers'entrepreneurship is a crucial means to achieve sustained income growth for farmer households,and the offspring of farmer households constitute the core force of rural construction.In-vestigating the impact mechanism of the entrepreneurship of farmers'offspring in the context of digit-al village construction is beneficial to advancing sustained income growth among farmer households and ultimately realizing rural revitalization.Using the matched data from the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)in 2018 and 2020 with the County-level Digital Village Index,this study empirically analyzes the influence of digital village construction on the entrepreneurship of farmers'offspring.The findings reveal that digital village construction significantly promotes the entrepreneurship among farmers'offspring.In terms of the underlying mechanism,digital village construction encourages the entrepreneurial decisions of farmers'offspring by enhancing their access to formal credit and digitali-zing information acquisition.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the promotion effect of digital village construction on the entrepreneurship of farmers'offspring is more pronounced in the eastern and western regions of China.And this effect is more evident among male offspring of farmers with lower education levels,lower savings,and larger family sizes.
