Analysis of enzyme characterization of a biphenyl dioxygenase from a PCBs-degrading strain
The enzymatic characteristics of the biphenyl dioxygenase from a polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)-degrading strain was investigated .The result showed that biphenyl dioxygenase played an im-portant role in the degradation process of PCBs .It belonged to endoenzyme ,and the most suitable pH value and temperature for this enzyme were at 7.5 and 35 ℃ ,respectively .The natrium ion could ac-celerate the activity of the enzyme ,the kalium ion had no effect on it ,and the magnesium ion ,calcium ion ,ferric ion and copper ion could suppress the activity at a certain degree .The Michaelis-Menten e-quation w as adopted to simulate the enzymatic process ,and the kinetic equation and key kinetic pa-rameters w ere achieved .
