A Case Study of Landscape Design of Memorial Hall Based on the Theory of Memory Place
At a time when history and culture are disappearing at an accelerated pace,the distance be-tween memory and history is widening.The exploration of the past memory and the present in the mem-ory of the memory site can not only accurately disseminate information for the memorial,but also con-vey the value of the memorial hall in the present.Taking the Nanjing Anti-Japanese Aviation Martyrs Memorial Hall as the starting point,based on the theory of memory place,the memorial landscape is constructed from three interrelated perspectives of symbols,ritual sites and spatial landscapes.Histori-cal memory,landscape memory and spatial memory are constructed through symbol extraction,so as to provide new methods and ideas for the construction of"the memory field of modern China",and at the same time,let the memorial landscape integrate memory into the spiritual life of modern cities in a har-monious way,and provide a new angle for the continuation of memory and construction of cultural identity.
