Automobile Consumption,Urbanization Level and Develop-ment of Automobile Industry Cluster in Yangtze River Delta Region
The influence mechanism and intermediary effect mechanism of automobile consumption on automobile industry cluster in Yangtze River Delta region are analyzed and hypotheses are put for-ward.Using the panel data of Yangtze River Delta region from 2010 to 2021,the panel regression mod-el was used to empirically test the influence mechanism and intermediary effect mechanism of automo-bile consumption on automobile industry clusters.The main conclusion is that automobile consump-tion significantly promotes the development of automobile industry cluster,and this result is still valid after replacing the explained variables and the core explanatory variables.Urbanization level plays a partial intermediary role in the influence of automobile consumption and the development of automo-bile industry cluster.The heterogeneity test shows that in areas with high economic development,high level of financial development,high purchasing power and high degree of fiscal expenditure,automo-bile consumption significantly promotes the development of automobile industry clusters.Based on the above research,the paper puts forward policy suggestions such as giving full play to the promotion function of automobile consumption and urbanization level to the automobile industry cluster,and pro-moting the development of the Yangtze River Delta automobile industry cluster according to local con-ditions.
