Development of China's Steel Tube Industry Based on Data
From the data perspective,the development of China's steel tube over 70 years in five stages are reviewed and analyzed.In terms of steel tube production,from almost entirely relying on imports in the early days of the founding of China to net exports,the proportion of steel tube production in the world has remained above 60%,achieving a leapfrog growth.In terms of the steel pipe industry structure,through mergers and reorganizations,the industrial concentration of seamless steel pipe and welded steel pipe enterprises has reached over 50%and 60%respectively,effectively promoting the optimization and upgrading of the industrial and product structures.In terms of high-end product research and development,research and development efforts have been increased in areas such as energy industry,aerospace,ocean engineering,and national defense construction,providing strong support for national economic development.However,the current overcapacity of steel tubes and the optimization and transformation of steel tube product structure are issues that should be paid more attention to.In the future,with the goal of peaking carbon emissions and carbon neutrality,steel pipe enterprises should accelerate transformation and upgrading,target new demands,continue to increase innovation efforts,and promote the development of China's steel pipe industry to high-end,intelligent,green and efficient directions.
