摘要

针对某管线施工现场发现的L360M钢级Φ406.4 mm×7.9 mm螺旋埋弧焊管近环焊缝母材存在疑似气孔问题,通过超声波检测、DR射线检测、金相检验等手段,分析缺陷类型及产生原因,并探讨了如何使用超声波等无损检测技术检出此类缺陷.结果表明,管端缺陷为密集气孔,是钢管出厂后对母材实施补焊产生,产生原因是焊前对补焊处末彻底清理、焊条未烘干或焊接熔池保护不当等,而相控阵超声波技术在检测管材细小缺陷方面更有优势.

Abstract

In view of suspected porosity problem in the base material of Φ406.4 mm×7.9 mm SSAW pipe near girth of L360M steel found on a pipeline construction site,types and causes of defects were analyzed by means of ultrasonic detection,DR Ray detection and metallography inspection,and how to detect such defects by ultrasonic non-destructive testing technology was discussed.Results show that the defect of pipe end is dense porosity,which are caused by repair welding of base metal after steel pipe leaves factory,and reasons are not thoroughly cleaned before the repair welding,the welding rod is not dried or welding pool is not properly protected.Phased array ultrasonic technology has more advantages in detecting small defects in pipes.
