Initial Geosteering Model for Horizontal Wells in Offshore Low Permeability Sand Conglomerate Gas Reservoirs
The gas test effect of horizontal wells in offshore low permeability sand conglomerate gas reservoir is very different, and some wells deviate from the gas reservoir and encounter the interlayer, resulting in poor gas test.In this block, the lithology distribution is complicated and the physical property of the formation is highly heterogeneous,so it is difficult to select the target horizon of horizontal wells and fine design of borehole trajectories.Combined with the well logging data and seismic data of the target block, the spatial distribution of the reservoir is implemented, and the 3D geological fine modeling of the target gas reservoir is carried out to achieve the fine characterization of the geological model and the correction of related attributes. On the basis of the fine description of the geological model, the well trajectory of the horizontal well is improved, the drilling rate of the horizontal gas zone is increased, and the open flow rate of the low permeability sand conglomerate gas well in the offshore target block is increased.
