This article starts from the main content of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.It analyzes the current teaching status and problems of the talent teaching of polymer discipline in the chemistry and chemical engineering majors of colleges and universities,and discusses how to implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in teaching.Some specific reform measures for talent cultivation methods have been proposed,including training objectives,training methods,training plans and evaluation mechanisms.Through the organic integration and mutual promotion of ideological and political education and experimental teaching,the integration of curriculum learning and thinking,as well as the unity of knowledge and action,has been achieved.The aim is to provide reference and reference for improving the quality of polymer discipline teaching in chemistry and chemical engineering majors in universities and cultivating high-quality chemical talents.
