This paper analyzed the hazardous and harmful factors and accident characteristics of confined space operations,and the current safety countermeasures for confined space operations are summarized and analyzed for their shortcomings.Some proposals are put forward to reduce the number of confined spaces and carry out safety modifications to confined spaces,with a view to reducing the frequency of operations in confined spaces and improving the inherent safety of confined spaces and the safety of emergency rescue operations.
