Shale gas production,as an important area of shale gas development in China,is currently facing a huge problem of profit reduction,which can be started from reducing costs to ensure the production enthusiasm of enterprises and promote the realization of the strategic goal of shale gas energy development.As an important shale gas production area,Changning,Sichuan Province,has much experience in shale gas production cost control.Based on the analysis of the development status and deficiencies of shale gas in this region,this paper puts forward measures to improve the overall development level of shale gas in southwest China by reducing cost and improving efficiency.
