Improvement and Transformation of Offshore Platform Natural Gas Host Control System Based on Independent Operation
Currently, platforms with power stations on the sea adopt a power grid operation mode, and a set of grid energy management system manage the power of the grid generators. This article focuses on the independent operation of natural gas hosts, which are unable to accept the control of the power grid energy management system due to the lack of speed regulation and voltage regulation interfaces in their control system. As a result, natural gas hosts can only operate at constant power in their own base load mode after being integrated into the power grid, and their load values can only be adjusted manually. Therefore, this paper proposes the improvement and transformation of the natural gas host control system to enable it to accept the frequency regulation and voltage regulation of the power grid energy management system. At the same time, this paper innovatively proposes an automatic loading and unloading scheme using the gas pressure value of the process system to control the natural gas host.By adding control cards and communication cards to establish communication with the power grid energy management system, the natural gas host control system has been upgraded and put into use, solving the stubborn problem of the unit not being controlled by the power grid energy management system. At the same time, the gas host's loading and unloading values can be adjusted according to the pressure value of the gas system and set proportionally in real time, achieving stable gas system pressure while reducing the amount of flare venting, achieving significant energy-saving and carbon reduction effects.
