Toughness Cement Slurry System and Its Performance Evaluation for Multi Branch Horizontal Wells
The process of multi branch horizontal wells is complex,and the presence of open hole sections at the intersection of the main and branch wells leads to hydraulic sealing problems,resulting in poor bonding between the cement sheath and the interface.Therefore,through the combination of toughening agent materials selected indoors,reinforcing agent RT-A,and expansion agent,the mechanical properties and bonding performance of the cement stone can be improved.A comprehensive evaluation of the performance of ductile cement slurry for multi branch horizontal wells was conducted indoors,and the results showed that the performance of the ductile cement slurry system was significantly better than that of ordinary polymer cement slurry.Compared with polymer cement slurry,the compressive strength and impact strength increased by 31%and 55%respectively,and the elastic modulus decreased by 61%.The ductile cement slurry has good toughness,and the bonding strength of the interface between ductile cement slurry Ⅰ and Ⅱ is high,and the ductile cement slurry has good micro expansion characteristics,meeting the cementing requirements of multi branch horizontal wells.
