Evaluation of Water Injection Development Effect in Block B of the Bohai Sea
The development of Block B in the Bohai Sea has entered a stage of medium to high water cut, facing problems such as insufficient oil well supply, rapid increase in water cut,and rapid decline in production. In response to the above issues, this article applies reservoir engineering theory and methods, using evaluation indicators such as analogy of similar oil fields in Bohai Sea,degree of water drive reserve utilization, water cut increase rate, decline rate, and water storage rate,to evaluate and study the water injection development effect of this block. It is believed that Block B has the characteristics of high oil recovery rate, fast water cut increase, and large decline rate.
