ChatGPT is a language model that can be quickly applied to various fields due to its powerful semantic understanding and text generation capabilities.As an Artificial Intelligence(AI)technology,ChatGPT is expected to accelerate the penetration of AI into the industrial sector.Currently,the application of ChatGPT in the petrochemical industry is still in the exploratory stage.The paper introduces the integration of ChatGPT with technologies such as Beidou positioning and GIS map services.It analyzes the application of ChatGPT in typical business scenarios in the petrochemical industry and summarizes the limitations of ChatGPT's application in this domain.The paper also proposes basic improvement strategies for the application of ChatGPT in the petrochemical industry.
