Analysis of Volatile Oil in Rhizome of Curcuma elata by GC-MS
In this paper, the volatile components of rhizome of Curcuma elata were analyzed, and the effects of different processing methods on the components were explored, which provided experimental basis for the processing technology screening and further research and development of Curcuma elata. The volatile oil was extracted by steam distillation from fresh rhizome samples of Curcuma elata by freeze-drying and vacuum drying. The relative content was determined by GC capillary column, mass spectrometry and area normalization method, and the volatile chemical components were analyzed. The components of volatile oil in rhizome processed by different drying methods are mostly the same, but the relative contents are different. The results show that the rhizome mainly contains the volatile components of epizurcumenone,β-elemene,β-eudinol,gemarone,curcumenone,curcumenone epoxide, curcumenene and β-caryophyllene,which have certain physiological activities and have broad development prospects.
