Application of Post-treatment Technology in Seawater Desalination Plant
Due to the low ion concentration of desalinated water produced by the reverse osmosis system of seawater desalination plant,it is typical of low hardness and low alkalinity water.Therefore,the water through the reverse osmosis system needs to be mineralized to meet the drinking water quality standards.This paper analyzes the post-treatment technology of Tseung Kwan O desalination plant,including mineralization,pH adjustment,sterilization,etc.,introduces the application of mineralization technology in desalination,and puts forward the specific operation design measures based on the trial operation data.
