Analysis on the Layout of Disciplines and Specialties in Higher Education of Xinjiang Serving Petrochemical Industry Cluster
The establishment of disciplines and majors in higher education in Xinjiang should fully utilize Xinjiang's rich oil and gas resources and geographical advantages,promote the construction of new engineering,new medical,new agricultural and new humanities,and promote the innovative development,transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry.Through the VAR model analysis,it was found that there is a clear driving relationship between the talent demand for the petrochemical industry cluster and the professional structure of higher education disciplines.The professional structure of higher education disciplines has a significant promoting effect on the talent demand for the petrochemical industry cluster,further demonstrating the mutual constraint relationship between the professional structure of higher education disciplines in Xinjiang and the talent demand for the petrochemical industry cluster.Through pulse response analysis and variance decomposition analysis,it can found that there is an inconsistency between the professional structure of higher education disciplines and the talent demand of the petrochemical industry cluster.Therefore,the discipline and professional settings of Xinjiang universities cannot meet the talent demand of the petrochemical industry,and further optimization is needed.
