With the improvement of social production level,people's requirements for safety are more stringent.Among many safety concepts,intrinsic safety is very important.In order to promote the concept of intrinsic safety and make people know it better,this paper introduces the connotation of intrinsic safety,puts forward the interdisciplinary thinking needed for the practice of intrinsic safety,briefly summarizes how to implement the concept of intrinsic safety,and analyzes the application of intrinsic safety in petrochemical,nuclear,aerospace and transportation fields with examples.Through the above contents,the theory and practice of intrinsic safety are explained,so as to deepen people's understanding of intrinsic safety and urge people to fully realize its importance.
