Study on Partial Carbon Footprint of Agricultural Urea Products Using Natural Gas As Raw Material
In this paper, part of the carbon footprint of agricultural urea products produced from natural gas was studied. The main reasons are that the product uses natural gas,the product is applied to soil, the life cycle of the product is short, the model is easy to establish, and the data of industry energy consumption, material consumption, pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions are relatively complete and easy to obtain.Five related enterprises in China were selected as research samples, and the data used were processed without affecting the scientific and validity of the research.According to this study, the partial carbon footprint of functional unit(1 t of agricultural urea products made from natural gas as raw materials)is 1 239.49 kgCO2-eq/t.
