Corrosion Analysis and Protection Measures of Natural Gas Long Distance Pipeline
Due to the complex environment through which natural gas long-distance pipelines pass,they are generally overhead or laid underground.Therefore,it is extremely susceptible to the influence of the external environment,leading to the occurrence of pipeline corrosion.When corrosion occurs in long-distance natural gas pipelines,it can cause gas leakage through pipeline perforation,and in severe cases,it can lead to fire accidents and cause serious economic losses.In addition,if an explosion accident occurs in a long-distance natural gas pipeline due to corrosion,causing economic losses and casualties,as well as negative impacts on the surrounding natural environment.Therefore,this article summarizes and analyzes the corrosion issues of natural gas long-distance pipelines,and explores effective protective measures,with the aim of increasing the operational service life of pipelines and ensuring their safe and stable operation.
