Application of Water-based Demulsifiers in Gudao Oilfield
This paper explores the emulsification status of polymer-flooded crude oil in Gudao oilfield, and identifies colloids and asphaltenes as the main factors affecting demulsification, resulting in challenges in breaking the emulsion and high oil content in wastewater. To address this issue,a water-based demulsifier was successfully prepared through polymerization reactions between polyethylene glycol(PEG)and epoxy ethane(EO)&epoxy propane(PO)in the laboratory. After multiple experiments, demulsifier 5050 was determined to be the most effective formulation.Additionally, the optimal mass ratio for PEG,EO,PO is 1∶149∶149,with EO and PO having their respective optimal reaction temperatures at 125℃and 140℃.
