Application and Challenge of Directional Well under Complex Geological Conditions
With the development of the society and the continuous progress of science and technology,the directional well technology has also been further developed.Directional well is an important drilling technology in oil exploration and development.Through the reasonable design and guidance of the formation,the drilling fluid can flow into the formation better,so as to ensure the smooth progress of the whole drilling process.Under the current complex geological conditions,the directional well technology faces many challenges.Therefore,it is necessary to constantly explore and study new technologies and new processes,and to apply them reasonably in combination with the actual situation.This paper first expounds the characteristics and basic requirements of directional wells,then analyzes the challenges faced by directional wells in complex geological conditions,and finally discusses the optimization measures of directional wells in complex geological conditions.
