Application Practice of the First Depressurization Exploitation in Deep Water Gas Field in China
During the development of deep water gas field,the energy of gas reservoir decreases gradually with the extraction of natural gas,which leads to the decrease of gas field production,it is difficult to meet downstream demand.In order to improve gas field recovery,a new wet gas compressor process was added to a deep water gas field in the South China Sea.At the same time,the overall pressure of the landing platform of the deepwater gas field was reduced to effectively improve gas field recovery.It is the first time for domestic deep water gas field to implement gas depressurization exploitation.During the implementation,the operators innovatively develop an online switching process depressurization mode and apply advanced industrial simulation software OLGA.These measures avoid the impact of production shutdown and depressurization on downstream users,avoid the energy waste of deep water pipe pressure relief,avoid the damage to the new equipment,and avoids the accidental shutdown of the platform.In the end,the gas depressurization exploitation of the deep water gas field has achieved good results.It is of high reference significance to the development of other deep water gas fields in China.
