Numerical Simulation of VOCs Emission Control in Large Ship Painting Workshops
This paper aims to evaluate and optimize the performance of different VOCs treatment technologies through numerical simulation analysis of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)emissions from large ship painting workshops. In this paper, the characteristics of VOCs emission during the ship painting process are described in detail, the corresponding physical model is constructed and the scientific calculation method is adopted. In addition, the accurate grid division is implemented, strict boundary conditions are set,and the airflow field and VOCs concentration field are calculated to simulate the diffusion and migration rules of VOCs in the workshop. The paper also evaluated the combined treatment effect of adsorption tower and combustion device, and found that the integrated treatment process of adsorption-combustion-biofilter can reduce the VOCs concentration by more than 90%.Through the careful adjustment of the operating parameters, the optimized treatment scheme meets the national standard limit requirements for VOCs emissions.
