Application of New Technology of Online Descaling of Submarine Pipelines on Offshore Platforms
The associated gas produced by an offshore oil platform has a high content of CO2,some wells have serious sand production,and the comprehensive moisture content increases year by year,resulting in serious scaling problems in the submarine pipelines.The operation pressure of the submarine pipeline is increasing,and the transmission capacity is gradually decreasing,which has a serious impact on the production safety of the oilfield.In this paper,the submarine pipelines scaling mechanism and influencing factors are analyzed,and the severity and distribution of submarine pipelines scaling are determined based on the submarine pipelines PIG data.A new online submarine pipelines descaling technology is put forward,which solves the problem that the descale removal agent system is diluted continuously during the process of submarine pipelines descaling,which affects the online submarine pipelines descaling effect.
