Method for Determination of Ethanolamine in Workplace Air
In this paper,a set of gas chromatographic methods for the determination of ethanolamine in workplace air were established by using silica gel tube,methanol solvent desorption,derivatization of benzaldehyde,and detection by hydrogen flame ionization detector to determine retention time and peak area.The results showed that the linear relationship of ethanolamine was good in the range of 12.43~248.6 μg/mL,the correlation coefficient was 0.999 7,the detection limit was 0.23 µg/mL,and the quantitation limit was 0.93 µg/mL.Based on the sampling volume of 1.5 L,the minimum detectable concentration was 0.15 mg/m3,the minimum quantitative concentration was 0.62 mg/m3,the precision was 1.0%~4.0%,the desorption efficiency was 92.7%~101.0%,the sampling efficiency was 97.4%,and the sample was stored for>7 days at room temperature.Each index of the method meets the requirements of relevant national standards,is efficient and convenient,has little damage to equipment,and has strong popularization.
