Study on Environmental Effects of Fuel Diversity in Blast Furnace
In industrial production, especially in the process of steel manufacturing, blast furnace is one of the key equipment, and its fuel choice has a significant impact on production efficiency and environmental impact.Blast furnace fuel diversity refers to the use of biomass fuel, gas fuel and other fuels in addition to traditional coke, aiming to optimize fuel consumption, reduce production costs and reduce environmental pollution. In this paper, the types and characteristics of blast furnace fuels are reviewed, and three main aspects of the environmental impact of fuel diversity are analyzed:greenhouse gas emission, solid waste and harmful by-products generation and treatment, and the comprehensive assessment of the environmental impact of different fuels by life cycle assessment method.Based on these assessments, strategies and measures to mitigate environmental impacts were further explored, including improving energy efficiency, using clean energy sources, and waste management and resource recovery.Through these strategies, not only can reduce the impact of steel production on the environment, but also provide a sustainable development path for steel industry production.
