Measures to Reduce the Bottom Sediment of Crude Oil Storage Tank
The main substances contained in crude oil, such as wax, asphaltene, gum and water, during storage in the tank, affected by density and temperature, the larger proportion of the group will naturally settle, accumulate at the bottom of the tank to form sediment after sinking, which has a great impact on the daily operation of the tank.Based on the objective analysis of the detection and distribution of the bottom sediment of the crude oil storage tank, the paper summarizes the causes and influencing factors of the formation of the sediment, and puts forward effective measures to reduce the bottom sediment from the aspects of optimizing the process of sending and receiving oil and sediment mixing,so as to improve the use efficiency of the storage tank and reduce the operation risk of the oil storage tank.
