Evaluation of the Impact of Mechanical Rolling on Buried Pipeline in Partially Supporting Foundation Pit
A newly built natural gas pipeline meets an in-service gas pipeline.Due to limited working space and complex construction conditions,it is necessary to conduct a special evaluation to ensure the safety of the in-service underground pipeline when necessary protective measures such as foundation pit support are taken. It provides decision-making guidance for the design, construction plan and pipeline protection plan.According to the construction plan,MIDAS GTS NX geotechnical finite element analysis software is used to establish a finite element model of the foundation pit and in-service gas pipeline,to simulate the displacement results of the foundation pit and the stress state of the in-service pipeline under the load of the sideboom tractor. The results show that after the load of the sideboom tractor is applied, the pipeline stress approaches the allowable stress, and the displacement of the foundation pit exceeds the monitoring warning value. It is ultimately recommended that the construction unit modify the construction plan and strengthen the protective measures for the in-service gas pipeline.
