With the exploitation of oil and gas resources moving towards deeper grounds and deeper seas,drilling engineering operations are gradually shifting towards automation and intelligence,and the five-cylinder drilling pump has begun to be gradually applied to the development of China's oil and gas resources.This article first statistically analyzes China's published patents related to five-cylinder drilling pump from three aspects:patent application volume,patent type and patent applicant,to explore the current development status of China's five-cylinder drilling pump product patents.Then it compares and analyzes the five-cylinder drilling pump that have been industrialized and applied in the market,to study the design features of various companies'five-cylinder drilling pump in China.Finally,it provides suggestions for future intellectual property and technological innovation work of five-cylinder drilling pump.
