Puyang city was built and born because of oil,and gradually developed into a city dominated by chemical industry.However,with the gradual depletion of oil and gas resources,it became one of the 69 resource-exhausted cities identified by the national development and Reform commission in 2011.Puyang city actively integrates into the new development pattern and promotes the transformation to emerging industries such as chemical new materials.This paper mainly analyzes the current situation of the cluster development of the new chemical materials industry in Puyang city,and puts forward suggestions for the high-quality development of the new chemical materials industry in Puyang city to continuously improve the overall competitiveness of the industrial cluster.
