Craftsmanship spirit refers to the quality and attitude of pursuing excellence and continuous improvement in work,which is the value orientation of practitioners.China is currently at a critical moment of industrial upgrading.In order to transform from a big manufacturing country to a strong manufacturing country,a large number of skilled talents with craftsmanship spirit of a major country are needed,and professional master's degree students are the talents to be cultivated for the country.Currently,there is a phenomenon of homogeneity between the cultivation of professional master's degree students and academic master's degree students,especially in the cultivation of craftsmanship spirit.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply study the cultivation and development strategies of craftsmanship spirit for professional master's degree students in the training process.Taking the cultivation of professional master's degree students in materials and chemical engineering of Wuhan University of Science and Technology as a pilot,this paper conducts research and discussion on the training objectives,training programs,teaching links,assessment methods,and topic selection of dissertations,and summarizes and extracts the experience gained,hoping to provide references and inspiration for domestic peers.
