The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized that the fundamental of education lies in virtue,and the classroom is the main position and main channel of ideological and political work in colleges and universities.Advanced organic chemistry is an effective carrier and an important position for carrying out ideological and political education in curriculum.In order to give full play to the educational function of the course,based on the international and domestic situation as well as the course content of advanced organic chemistry,this paper deeply analyzes the key points of integrating ideological and political elements into the teaching of advanced organic chemistry,explores the effective ways to carry out ideological and political education of advanced organic chemistry courses,and integrates ideological and political elements into the teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching process and teaching assessment.It permeates before,during and after class of higher organic chemistry in order to achieve the purpose of teaching and cultivating applied education talents in line with the background of the new era.
