Traditional oxidation furnaces usually use high alumina bricks for block masonry or overall pouring of castables.Although this construction method has certain advantages, such as short construction time and no need for baking, there are a large number of brick gaps in the structure, resulting in a relatively short service life.In addition, using castable for construction requires a long construction period, and the exhaust gas is directly discharged through the flue, resulting in a short residence time of the flue gas in the oxidation furnace, which cannot fully utilize the waste heat in the flue gas and leads to energy waste. Therefore, this article introduces an innovative vertical kiln design for zinc oxide production, aiming to solve the problems existing in traditional oxidation furnaces. The new zinc oxide kiln has significantly improved the installation speed and sealing effect of the furnace body through innovative technologies such as assembly design, casting of casting materials, and alternating gas and exhaust gas transportation system.
