This article conducts in-depth research and analysis on the working principle,application effect,existing problems and challenges of flue gas desulfurization system in thermal power plants.This article introduces the background and significance of the flue gas desulfurization system in thermal power plants,and then explores its working principle,main desulfurization methods,as well as the basic composition and application of the system.Analyzed the problems and challenges of desulfurization systems,including technical challenges,energy consumption and cost issues,waste treatment and resource utilization,as well as operational and maintenance management challenges.Finally,directions for technological innovation and improvement,sustainable development strategies,and future development trends and prospects were proposed.Through the research and analysis in this article,reference and guidance can be provided for the optimization design,operation management,and technological innovation of flue gas desulfurization systems in thermal power plants.
