How to Effectively Manage and Utilize Industrial Gas Cylinders in Overseas Oilfields
Industrial gas cylinders are commonly used equipment in the industrial production field.Overseas petrochemical enterprises extensively utilize various types of industrial gas cylinders in various production processes.Currently,Chinese enterprises work in underdeveloped countries overseas,where industrial infrastructure is weak,legal and regulatory systems are incomplete,and the industrial gas cylinder market supply is chaotic.Additionally,local employees often have a weak awareness of safety,leading to frequent incidents involving gas cylinders.This article takes the problems encountered in the industrial gas cylinder management process in an oilfield in the Middle East as an example.It analyzes the main issues existing in the overseas management and usage of industrial gas cylinders.Drawing on years of experience in gas cylinder management,targeted suggestions for cylinder management are provided,effectively reducing the occurrence of cylinder-related incidents.This article serves as a reference for the industrial gas cylinder management of similar overseas projects.
