Lignocellulose is a renewable resource,finds wide applications in the production of biofuels and biomaterials.Its pretreatment is a crucial step in enhancing conversion efficiency,aimed at disrupting its complex structure to improve accessibility and efficiency of subsequent conversions.Chlorine-containing choline-based deep eutectic solvents(DESs)represent a novel green solvent due to their unique chemical and physicochemical properties,such as excellent dissolution capability,environmental friendliness,and biodegradability,making them a research hotspot in lignocellulose pretreatment.
