Through systematic cost control method,this paper analyzes the key points of cost control in the design,procurement,construction and accounting stages of offshore petroleum engineering projects,and puts forward effective cost control strategies.The results show that accurate cost estimation,comprehensive risk management,strict contract management and technological innovation can effectively manage and control project costs,reduce the risk of cost overruns,and provide a comprehensive cost control framework for project managers and decision makers of offshore petroleum engineering projects,which is conducive to improving the overall success rate and economic benefits of the project.
