Research on BOG Recovery Technology of Tank Container for LNG Based on Liquid Nitrogen Condensation
Methane is the main component of liquefied natural gas.Methane has a high warming potential and is the second largest greenhouse gas contributing to global warming.In order to strengthen source control and resource utilization,aiming at BOG(boil-off gas)discharged from the storage and transportation of LNG tank container,a recovery and utilization process of BOG condensation method for LNG tank container based on the utilization of liquid nitrogen cold energy was proposed,and a mathematical model of the main technical parameters of the BOG condensation recovery system was established.The application research of new technology and its economic,social and environmental benefit analysis are carried out.The results show that the process technology can control the unorganized emission of BOG,realize the recycling of BOG released from LNG tank container,and have a positive impact on the utilization of energy resources,collaborative control of pollutants,reduction of safety accidents and control of global temperature rise.
