Tert-butyl hydrogen peroxide(TBHP)is an important chemical raw material,which has been widely used in the fields of polymer polymerization initiator,organic synthesis intermediate and oxidant.Tert-butanol is an important source and one of the most common methods for preparing tert-butyl hydrogen peroxide.This paper reviews the research progress and achievements of the preparation of tert-butyl hydrogen peroxide from tert-butanol in domestic and foreign patent literature,providing references for the application of the preparation method of tert-butyl hydrogen peroxide and the development of new preparation processes.
