The production separator of offshore platform is an important equipment for crude oil dewatering,and its operation determines the effect of crude oil dewatering.Based on the analysis of the operating status of the production separator on the platform,the paper sorted out the problems existing in the equipment based on the hydraulic model,and took a series of targeted measures,such as reducing the height of the water collector in the clean water chamber of the separator,adding efficient bonding plate inside the separator,adding connecting pipes between the mixing chamber and the clean water chamber,and adding oil-water interface meter in the mixing chamber of the separator,so that the processing capacity and effect of the separator have been greatly improved.The platform has carried on the technical reconstruction of four separators,all of which have achieved good results,providing a reference for the technical reconstruction and upgrading of separators in the future.
