Recycling Technology of Valuable Metal in Lithium Battery
The recycling of used lithium ion batteries(LIB)is an effective way to reuse lithium,cobalt,nickel,manganese and other valuable metals.This paper focuses on the recycling of valuable metals in LIB by various recycling methods.The recovery route of valuable metals is discussed,and the separation,pretreatment and the technology adopted are emphasized.These include traditional methods,such as hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy,and current methods,such as pyrometallurgy and biometallurgy.By comparing the above methods,various leaching and recovery processes are clarified,and ideas are provided for recycling valuable metals cleaner and more environmentally friendly from waste LIB,so as to promote the recycling efficiency of valuable metals.
