Natural Gas Pipeline Safety Management and Risk Assessment
Natural gas transport pipeline is an important part of energy supply system,but its safety management and risk assessment are very important.This paper takes natural gas pipeline safety management and risk assessment as the theme,synthetically analyzes the research results and experience in related fields,and puts forward a series of management measures and assessment methods.First of all,this paper summarizes the basic situation and operation characteristics of natural gas transport pipelines,including pipeline layout,material characteristics,operation parameters and so on.Then,it focuses on the common failure factors of natural gas transport pipelines.This paper proposes a risk assessment method,through the possible accidents and the impact on the environment,personnel and equipment comprehensive assessment,to determine the pipeline risk level and the corresponding management strategy.With the continuous progress of technology and the accumulation of experience,the safety management and risk assessment of natural gas transportation pipelines will be more refined and reliable.
