One-dimensional Blanking Optimization Scheme Based on the Principle of Surplus Material Priority
Steel pipe, profiles, cables and other materials are widely used in the construction of various petroleum engineering facilities. How to improve the utilization rate of such materials is a difficult and important point in the actual use process. The nesting of shapes is a typical one-dimensional linear cutting problem.A large amount of residual materials will be generated during the cutting process. The secondary use of residual materials is an important factor restricting the improvement of material utilization rate and the reduction of transportation and inventory costs. In this paper,a standardized storage method of residual material information for linear materials is proposed, which can efficiently store and extract residual material information in conjunction with material library, and through an algorithm based on the principle of"residual material priority",the overall utilization rate of materials is improved in practical application cases.
