Taking the practical teaching of graduate students majoring in materials science and engineering in Jianghan University as an example,this paper expounds the necessity of cultivating the innovative ability of graduate students under the background of"double first-class"initiative,and puts forward a new"five-in-one"training mode based on the scientific research and innovation project of graduate students to stimulate the creativity of students with BOPPPS teaching mode.The five core abilities of literature review ability,information integration ability,practical ability,data analysis ability and writing expression ability of students are comprehensively cultivated to enhance the innovation ability of graduate students and provide certain references for the training of innovative talents of graduate students.
