Application of Thermal Efficiency Enhancement for Recycle Gas Heat Exchangers in Unipol Polypropylene Process
This paper introduces the application of improving the thermal efficiency of the reactor recycle gas heat exchanger in Grace Company's Unipol gas-phase process technology.The recycled gas heat exchanger is used for heat removal from the reactor.Long-term heat exchanger use can lead to fouling,which reduces thermal efficiency and affects production load.The experimental device uses a domestically pioneering acid cleaning system to achieve online acid cleaning of the recycle gas heat exchanger without stopping the device and reducing the production load.During the acid cleaning process,the reactor operates stably,the operation is convenient,and the heat exchange efficiency can be improved by more than 35％after acid cleaning.This system has great promotional value for the long-term operation of the heat exchanger.
